Custom Credit
Rivers provides many different services, one of which is funding to other independent lenders through its block discounting services. Occasionally, when a firm using our facility ceases to operate, their agreements and customers are assigned to us. This is the case with personal loans provider, Custom Credit Limited.
Having ceased trading, Custom Credit has provided us with details of all the agreements they entered into, and in keeping with best practice we will now complete the process of collection. As a result, if you were a Custom Credit customer, you are now a client of Rivers.
Rivers is regulated by the FCA
Rivers is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) (Rivers Financial Group plc - FRN 736080), which allows us to collect regulated consumer agreements, ensuring that we follow the FCA regulations in respect of collections and supporting customers.
What this means for Custom Credit customers
In practice, nothing changes from your perspective, except that going forward your communications will be with our team. The terms of your borrowing remain the same.If you are with a Debt Management Plan (DMP) provider, we can confirm that we have contacted them about the situation so they can update their records.
