This week Rivers Leasing has launched a £3 million Loan Notes investment opportunity with Crowdstacker to the public, offering investors the chance to earn a fixed 6.5% gross p.a. return over three years. Crowdstacker is an award winning P2P investment provider.
The initiative is part of an innovative growth funding strategy to support its increasing demand for asset leases and corporate loans. It is the first use of an Innovative Finance ISA by the leasing company; enabling planned organic growth in the company which was recently ranked 186th in the FT1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies this year.
Having honed a resilient model over eight years, Rivers Leasing is now an established leasing and finance business and as a result has experienced strong but steady growth since its launch in 2011. Rivers has decided to add this new funding line to its portfolio to widen its base of finance sources.
For investors it is an opportunity to be part of a planned growth model which is due to see them receive payments on a quarterly basis throughout the three-year investment term. These payments will consist of a combination of capital repayment and interest due, much in the same way a person pays their mortgage.
Ratan Daryani, Managing Director of Rivers Leasing says: “Rivers is experiencing robust levels of demand from across the UK SME sector. Our objective is to meet this demand and grow the total gross debtor book. We hope you will take this opportunity to join us in our growth.”
Karteek Patel, CEO of Crowdstacker, comments: “This investment means investors can really be fighting on the frontline with British SMEs, helping them to stay competitive and grow by supplying much needed funding for asset finance.”
